About Morgan Law PLLC
Ray Morgan
Direct, steady counsel for the moments that need both care and resolve.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ray served ten years in military law enforcement, including multiple deployments to Iraq. He started his legal career as a paralegal, then attended law school at the University of Montana. There, he interned at the Innocence Project, where the work demanded total focus and exacting attention to detail.
Early in his career, Ray split his time doing contested divorce and custody matters while working the discovery side of class-action lawsuits against large pharmaceutical companies. He spent the following years as a criminal defense attorney, taking many cases to trial. His work has also included landlord-tenant, vehicle warranty claims, contract disputes, consumer protection matters, and other general civil matters.
Between his time in the military and his years in the courtroom, Ray knows how to handle situations when they get strange, tense, or unpredictable. He is direct, stays composed under pressure, and can be diplomatic without backing down.
Ray lives in Great Falls with his wife and three daughters. Outside of work, he is an avid reader with a particular interest in history, geopolitics, and U.S. foreign policy. If he has free time, there is a good chance he is at a poker table.
